Deep start. Big movement.
The roller starts well beneath the seat. The acute starting angle defines the beginning of the movement — follow the arm from this deep position through its full path.

Research context
Why adjust the hip angle?
The rectus femoris crosses both the hip and knee. That makes backrest position an interesting starting point for product development.
A ten-week study of 22 untrained men found greater growth in parts of the rectus femoris at 40° than at 90° hip flexion. It tested another machine; it does not establish the effects of STOAD 01.
